The 18^th EURO-INBO International Conference was celebrated on 9^th and 10^th November and it was organised entirely on line for the first time, due to the restrictions of movement linked to the Covid-19 pandemic. More than 306 organisations from 47 countries attended the on line Conference. An official opening session took place in the presence of:

• Mr. Eric Tardieu, Secretary General of the International Network of Basin Organizations
• Ms Bettina Doeser, Head of the Water Unit of DG Environment at the European Commission
• Mr Juhani Gustaffson, Ministerial Adviser at the Finnish Ministry of the Environment
• Mr. Manuel Sapiano, Director General of the Maltese Water and Energy Agency

Moreover, a series of interactive workshops and webinars were organised, namely:

• Workshop on the new Common Agricultural Policy (CAP): an opportunity for water policies?
• Workshop on the European partnership “Water4all” of the upcoming Horizon Europe Framework Programme on Research and Innovation of the EU.
• A webinar dedicated to the City-basin Dialogue;
• A webinar on how water digital innovations can benefit to River Basin Organisations (Fiware4Water)
